Why it matters

The physical side decides more of the game than ever

At every level of the pyramid, the women's game has become faster, more physical and more demanding. Matches are won and lost on the first five yards of a sprint, the strength to hold off a defender and the fitness to keep making runs when the game is stretched.

Technical work alone isn't enough any more. If your body can't repeat the demands of the game, your football can't show. Proper strength and conditioning is what turns the training you already do into performances — and, just as importantly, it's what keeps you available. Robust players play more matches, improve faster and enjoy the game more.

Speed & power

The women's game is faster every season. Sprint work, acceleration mechanics and explosive strength so you win the first five yards — and the next ones.

Robustness & fewer injuries

Stronger muscles, tendons and landing mechanics mean more time on the pitch and less time watching from the side. The physical work that protects you is the most important work you'll do.

Repeat it for 90 minutes

Football isn't one sprint, it's dozens. Conditioning that lets you keep making good decisions — and good runs — deep into the second half.

Win more duels

Strength you can use: holding the ball, shielding, competing in the air and standing up in challenges. Physicality that shows up on a Saturday.
